Who are you?Hello! My name is Pam Book Gangluff and I am the owner of Pam Book, Seamstress in Conway, Arkansas. I am almost entirely self taught and learned how to sew from YouTube videos, though I had several excellent mentors to help me along the way. I started sewing in 2014, then altered my first wedding dress in 2017. Now I specialize in bridal sewing and alterations! In 2021, I completed 52 wedding dress alterations. In 2022, I completed 82 wedding dress alterations. I've had brides travel from all over the United States to work with me and my brides have celebrated their weddings all over the world. My sewing work has also been published in several magazines. I have the distinct honor and privilege to work with the best wedding vendors in Arkansas. What services do you offer?I offer sewing and alterations services for brides, including bridal gowns, outfits, and accessories. I am also accepting wedding party alterations, such as bridesmaid and mother of the bride or groom outfits, or wedding guest dresses. As of May 2024, I am also taking alterations for homecoming, prom, and pageant gowns. How do I book an appointment?For bridal inquiries, first schedule a phone call with Pam. She will go over the process and answer any questions you may have. What is the process for bridal appointments and alterations?Congratulations on your engagement! If you've found your wedding gown or outfit, request an appointment for a free consultation for a bridal fitting. Please follow the guidelines on how to schedule an appointment listed in the FAQ's. If you have additional questions, I would be happy to schedule a phone call with you. Please fill out this form to request a phone call.

When should I schedule my bridal alterations?I typically need between 8-12 weeks to work on a wedding gown. I generally book up quickly, so if you know you are getting married and want to book me to do your wedding gown alterations, please request an appointment at least 3 months before your wedding.

Can I get a price quote?Pricing is contingent on the project and determined by level of difficulty. Pam will schedule a free consultation with you to see your dress in person before issuing an estimate. To get schedule a consultation, please follow the guidelines for scheduling an appointment.

Do you alter men's clothing?No, I do not alter menswear.
